I have a double a room available now - just off Ecclesall Road (near little Tesco) for a female student - sharing with two other friendly, tidy girls in a fab modern property.

If you are new to Sheffield, take time to find the 'right' area.  Some are far better than others and although Sheffield is considered a safe city, certain areas are known trouble areas.  Even living on certain roads (or next to them) would concern me - as 'social' housing has ruined many areas.  Many of the big new student developments have been erected in areas where I would not want to walk at night because of 'undesirables' and prostitution - don't sign up for a student house sheffield until you know the area

Accommodation for Students in Sheffield varies massively in its presentation and cost - expect to pay between £45 (few and far between, generally tatty and further from the unis) and £95 (Ultra modern in good safe student areas)
